We had a blast at Hyperfest 2010. Here is a little video montage of our trip!

Just received my iMac yesterday and wow. 27″ of pure viewing pleasure. With an i7 and 8Gb of RAM this thing of beauty performs as well. I dig the wireless peripherals, not that I don’t have them for PC, but these actually work. The keyboard is small, but as a laptop user, I like the short “bounce” and the feel without too much keyboard noise. Nearly everything is aluminum which is a really nice touch.

Though how you do certain tasks is different (mind you, “I’m a PC… er, wuz”) it begs the question “why can’t everything be this simple?” or “why not do it this way?” I’m sure I’ll have my “stupid mac” moments, but no issues yet.

I read yesterday that Valve is coming out w/ Steam for mac ((click here for article).) They are treating the mac as a Tier-1 platform and will be releasing future versions of their software for pc, mac and xbox simultaneously. Good stuff and what a coincidence, the day I got my mac, one of my fav game makers is going to support it.

We got some snow over the weekend and this is the snow man Trinity and Jer made.

Installed Windoze 7 (thx kev) last night and so far so good. Gimme a few weeks and I’ll hose it up for sure ;-P

Woke up this morning and found my dog had passed away last night. We knew her time was coming as her age and health were odds against her. She brought us 12+ years of fun and we’ll miss ya girl.
